Following on from the successful completion of the Pod Unit at Star City, Abr was selected to carry out the extensive internal strip-out of a former Virgin Active Gym located within the Star City centre.

The works were undertaken on a fixed design and build contract basis. Abr were required to remove all existing finishes within the unit’s four walls, including 13,000 sq.ft of structural mezzanine floor, pool infills and incoming service re-configuration.

All works were carried out within the live centre’s demise whilst ensuring that all neighbouring tenants and passing trade were maintained and free of any day to day disruption.

The works were completed successfully, on time and on budget.
